Video filmed by Patricia Birmingham in 2021 shows her final moments alive before she was shot by her husband, Carey Birmingham. 

Her husband shot and killed her after he discovered she had an affair. 

He was recently sentenced to 10 years in prison for her death and will be up for parole after 5 years.

The incident took place in a northwest Harris County home on Dec. 6, 2021. The location was the 19800 block of Rose Dawn Lane, where deputies found Patricia Birmingham dead in the driveway from an apparent gunshot wound. At the time of the incident, investigators found that the husband and his wife were the only people present at the property.


Carey Birmingham, a 60-year-old Spring resident, was sentenced to only 10 years in prison even after footage captured by his wife, who was shot and killed in December 2021, moments before her death was caught on tape. An all-female jury decided against the maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and instead sentenced Birmingham to 10 years. In the video obtained by ABC 13, Birmingham can be seen wearing a bathroom robe and aiming a shotgun at his wife in the driveway of their home in Spring, Texas.

Their daughter, Olivia, was at school when his father shot her mother in December 2021. Olivia spoke of the tragic incident: "I lost both my parents that day. My dad died that day, too, because the person who did that to my mom and my father aren’t the same person." Olivia testified that she had never witnessed her father physically abusing her mom, but she wanted to raise awareness that there are different types of abuse she experienced, including emotional and financial.

A new footage, revealed to be filmed last year, appears to show Daesh terror militants gunning down 200 Syrian children in a savage mass execution.  In the video, which has been circulated online by a Yemen-based anti-ISIS activist, the children are forced to lie face down side-by-side in the dust with around a dozen militants behind them with assault rifles and machine guns. One armed militant then begins to open fire, shooting each child individually at point blank range. Others then join in, massacring the children.
