NEW: Horrific 15-year-old girl r*ped, shot, and set on fire by her own mother and her mother's boyfriend in Louisiana.

Latonya Harris, 40, and Terrence Washington, 41, were arrested after police made a disturbing discovery after Washington crashed his car.


Police found a 15-year-old girl in the backseat of the car with unrelated injuries to the crash.

According to Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet, the girl was "found to be suffering from large-scale burns to majority of her upper body and multiple gunshot wounds."




Washington admitted to s*xually abusing the girl and shooting her with a shotgun in the chest and face.


He accused the mother of setting her on fire with half her face burned off.

One of the girl's eyes had to be medically removed and she lost multiple teeth. Relatives say she "looked dead" when they went to visit her at the hospital.


The girl unfortunately has many more surgeries ahead including mouth reconstruction.
