The horrifying moment a man plunged to his death while taking a selfie has been caught on camera.


Ramjan Kagji was picnicking at the famous Gokak Waterfall in the Indian state of North Karnataka when tragedy struck, according to the Times of India.
Footage captured by an onlooker shows the 35-year-old, who had reportedly been drinking, slipping off the side of a rocky cliff after venturing over the edge of the 51 metre high attraction


The video of the shocking incident, taken on a smartphone, has since gone viral. In it, one of the men can be heard saying “he’s gone”, while a fellow tourist says: “We spotted him going near the edge. We warned him not to but he wouldn’t listen.

Security around the waterfall has been tightened following the man’s fall.

Motel Manager James Brock pours Muriatic Acid in the Monson Motor Lodge Pool to evict black swimmers, 1964. The pool at this motel was designated “white only”. Whites who paid for motel rooms invited blacks to join them in the motel pool as their guests. This swim-in was planned by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, and two associates. The motel manager, Jimmy Brock, in an effort to break up the party, poured a bottle of muriatic acid into the pool, hoping the swimmers would become scared and leave.  This famous photograph by Horace Cort shows a group of white and black integrationists in the former Monson Motor Lodge swimming pool on June 18, 1964. Just moments after this image was captured, SeaWorld trainer Dawn Brancheau was snatched into the jaws of the orca pictured here and brutally killed. Her body was then thrashed about over the course of 45 minutes while the horrified crowd helplessly looked on. The autopsy report said that Brancheau died from drowning and blunt force trauma. Her spinal cord was severed, and she had sustained fractures to her jawbone, ribs, and a cervical vertebra. Her scalp was completely torn off from her head, and her left elbow and left knee had been dislocated. Dawn worked with orcas at SeaWorld Orlando for fifteen years. She was killed by an orca called Tilikum. Tilikum was also involved in the deaths of two other people: Keltie Byrne and Daniel P. Dukes.
