A man stole the severed leg of a train cash victim and started eating it . "On the leg, the skin was hanging. You could see the bone."

Construction workers laying concrete in Wasco, California last Friday were stunned when they saw a man walking down the sidewalk — with a human leg. They captured video of the bizarre incident that shows 27-year-old Resendo Tellez seemingly biting into a severed foot before waving it at police officers. Tellez allegedly stole the limb from the scene of a nearby train collision that left a pedestrian dead, and he's now facing charges for removing evidence from the scene

This is Grigori Perelman, a mathematician who refused to accept a fields medal and the $1,000,000 prize  In 2002, Russian mathematician Grigori Perelman published the first of three groundbreaking papers offering a proof for the famous Poincaré conjecture, one of the toughest unsolved problems in math.  He was awarded the prestigious Fields Medal in 2006 and 1M reward from the Clay Mathematics Institute- he refused to accept both. Grigori Perelman. Winner of the Fields Medal (one of the most honorable awards in mathematics). And winner of a million dollars for solving the "Poincaré Conjecture", one of the seven problems of the millennium. He rejected both awards and currently lives a simple life, isolated from the mathematical community, yet he is one of the greatest minds of this century. Why did Grigori Perelman refuse $1 million? According to Interfax, Perelman refused to accept the Millennium prize in July 2010.  He considered the...

Video filmed by Patricia Birmingham in 2021 shows her final moments alive before she was shot by her husband, Carey Birmingham.  Her husband shot and killed her after he discovered she had an affair.  He was recently sentenced to 10 years in prison for her death and will be up for parole after 5 years. The incident took place in a northwest Harris County home on Dec. 6, 2021. The location was the 19800 block of Rose Dawn Lane, where deputies found Patricia Birmingham dead in the driveway from an apparent gunshot wound. At the time of the incident, investigators found that the husband and his wife were the only people present at the property. Carey Birmingham, a 60-year-old Spring resident, was sentenced to only 10 years in prison even after footage captured by his wife, who was shot and killed in December 2021, moments before her death was caught on tape.  An all-female jury decided against the maximum sentence of 20 years in pris...

In November 1996, Ethiopian Airlines Flight 961 was hijacked by three Ethiopian men just 20 minutes after takeoff.  The men stormed the cockpit and hijacked the aircraft, wielding an axe and a fire extinguisher taken from the cockpit. The hijackers were identified as two unemployed high school graduates and a nurse. They demanded that the plane be flown to Australia so they could seek asylum in the country. The captain attempted to explain that they only had enough fuel for the scheduled flight and thus could not even make a quarter of the way to Australia, but the hijackers did not believe him. They declared in Amharic, French, and English that if anyone tried to interfere, they had a bomb and would use it to blow up the plane. Authorities later determined that the supposed bomb was actually a covered bottle of liquor. Instead of flying towards Australia, the captain flew along the African coastline. The hijackers noticed that land was s...
